Innocastle recommendation:
Use on site experiment as a strategy for policy development
This is one of the thirteen policy recommendations being formulated at this moment by the Innocastle team. As part of the Interreg Europe funded project, a baseline survey has been conducted in the four participating regions on the policy instruments influencing the conservation, transformation and valorisation of many historical castles, manors and estates.
Apart from the thirteen recommendations, the survey looks in depth into the four participating European regions and identifies the several shared characteristics specific to this heritage type.
