From June 13–15, 2024, the KAMU Espoo City Museum hosted the 8th ENCOUNTER conference. The title of the conference was ‘Manors at War.’ The conference explored the fate of individual manors during times of war, as well as the broader societal, social, and economic significance of manors in periods of war and crisis.
